I chose this hotel for attending a business mixer in Scarborough and it was the perfect choice. The location was excellent, just a short distance from The Spa Scarborough. The facilities at The Ticket Office were immaculate and provided everything I needed during my stay. The quirky and original features of the hotel added a unique touch to my experience.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center where I could work on my presentations and meetings. Other than that, my stay at The Ticket Office was enjoyable and hassle-free.

The room at The Ticket Office in Whitby was absolutely amazing! It had 1 bathroom with a bath or shower, and another bathroom with a shower. As a disabled guest, I felt so comfortable and well-cared for. The bathrooms were spacious and well-equipped, making my stay hassle-free.
The only thing I didn't love was that there was only one bathroom with a bath or shower. However, I understand that this is just my personal opinion and others may still enjoy the room.

Loved the quirky train theme and the convenience of the location. The accommodation was cozy and well-equipped for a great getaway.
Couldn't enjoy the wonderful steam train nearby because the property didn't have any windows. Great, just what I needed, total darkness.

The location was great, being close to the town center and easy to find. It was also convenient to have a pub across the road that served delicious food with generous portions.
The room was smaller than expected, especially the bed area. the road noise was quite bothersome as well, considering how busy it was.

Private Parking: The private parking at this holiday home was a lifesaver! Finding parking in this town is like finding a needle in a haystack, but having my own designated spot felt like having a valet service at my beck and call. I didn't have to worry about searching for a spot or getting a parking ticket. It was pure bliss!
Traffic noise: Slightly annoying.

The facilities at The Ticket Office were excellent, providing everything I needed for a productive stay. The quirky and cozy ambiance added a unique touch to my experience, making it truly memorable.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or workspace. It would have been helpful to have a designated area where I could work on my laptop and handle business-related tasks.

Mind-blowingly awesome location - right by the train station for easy adventures! The 30-minute walk along the charming cinder path trail to Whitby was super pleasant. The house itself was jaw-droppingly well-equipped and everything worked like a charm. We were obsessed with the railway theme - it totally sealed the deal for us! Plus, the surrounding area was perfect for walks, and the local butcher's was a top-notch spot for supplies and breakfast cobs. Can't wait to book again, especially during the summer season when the steam train is running. An absolutely stellar little cottage that was a real treat to stay in.
